ECU Question

Hey, recently installed an aem sri, but I was curious if I should reset the ecu. I've heard of people doing this after installing a cai or sri so the computer reads the new air flow correctly. Should I, or should I not do this, and if I should, how do I go about doing it? my car is a 94 dx.

Thanks in advance.

well you can either pull the ecu fuse in the underhood fuse box for 5 minutes or disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for 5 minutes.

is there any chance this can screw anything up? or is it a 99.9% thing to correct the airflow etc.?

well i've never reset the ecu after installing a SRI (IMO there's no need) but it won't hurt anything.

alright, well I removed the ecu fuse for 5 mins like you said. turned the car on, let it warm up then turned it off. then I had to go pickup my g/f so I drove it pretty hard on the way there. seems to me that it is runny smoother but thats my 2 cents.

appreciate the help, thanks a lot.
