hey guys i have an ecu here and i wanna know what car its from, its says 00 SIR on it but thats written in pen so i dont wanna trust that.

the numbers on the ecu sticker read:

37820-p2t-c12
Z5 1171-200093

Anybody knows what da hell that means?? lol

so basically this is an SIR computer right? can u tell if its OBD 1 or OBD 2? and lets say this is an obd 2 computer what would i need to do to use it on an older SIR conversion, OBD1? do i just have to buy a harness or something? or do u have to get the whole **** rewired?

yea its a 99-00 SiR computer....And it is also OBD-2. Iam not sure what all you need to run this ECU in your setup.
Maybe you should post more about your setup for others to help. Like you said you had an older SiR engine...What 1st gen or 2nd gen? What car did it come outta of?

its not my car, its my cousins, he lives in florida. I just wanna know for my information and i got him the computer and i wanted to know if it was the right one but its not, cause its for a newer SIR. thats why i wanna figure out what he would need to do if i sent this SIR ecu too him

His car is a jap spec SIR engine, B16A2 i think, its from the generation before the 99-00 SIR's.
