ecu help
I just had my car converted from auto-manual... but because I plan to do a mini-me on my d series I bought a manual p28 ecu to use for the conversion (currently my motor is not vtec). Because the motor is not vtec he left the original auto ecu in... it actually seems to run fine other than the code it throws because it's lookin for an auto ecu. What I want to know is... would it be better to put the manual p28 in or would that run worse... that will also throw a code as it will be looking for oil pressure and vtec. Any opinions?

Doesn't the auto ecu have a lower redline than the manual?

Well no matter what the code, I won't be able to fix it because it's an auto ecu with a manual tranny... just need to know if it will be bad for anything to run a non-vtec motor with a p28. Just to clarify I have two ecu's : 1)original automatic P06 (this is still in the car... although the car is no longer automatic) 2) manual p28 which I will be using after the mini-me is done.
All I want to know is which one ecu is better to use currently
