Hello all,
this is my first post on TCC and I have a CEL (P0420) on my 99 SiR and i came across this item on ebay. heres the item #280058472209 (tried to link it and it wouldn't work)

So long story short, should i buy this for like 20 bucks, or buy a new cat and rear o2 sensor. oh ya i just passed etest with no problems.

well I'd rather have my car running right than fooling it into thinking it's running right. I say you go to clubplugs.net or clubplug.net I forget.... and get a new O2 sensor. I highly doubt your catalytic converter is gone... those bad boys are pretty tough.

If you passed with flying colours........then why would you replace the cat obviously its fine. If youre throwing codes, its the bung. But either way, I know Fbody guys (Camaro/Trans-Am) that run these in their long tube headers and they work from IIRC. But it's not a ebay brand. It's worth a try for $20.
