did you do all the bushings your self or did you get it done?
i was talking to a couple of mechanics and they were saying i am looking at around 300 dollars for labour alone since it is super time consuming.
but the good about my stuff right now is that like I said the car is still in a million pieces so that should help eliminate alot of crap like taking the stuff apart first to access the bushings etc..

black don't squeak? they sure do squeak like a ****. i don't know where you got your info on between the black or reds nor am i saying you are wrong but i spoke with the ppl at JRP and a few different mechanics and they all say its the same thing. only difference is colour preference i guess. the colour has nothing to do with the squeaking. i have both red and black on my car and both squeak. it's a matter of using enough grease or lubricant when you install them. i have red polyurethane endlinks on my car and shifter bushings. the whole suspension are blacks. when i go over rough surfaces in neutral i can hear my front sway squeaking like a rat but not to the point where it's anoying.
mikepasini, try JRP since you're from sauga. they're near QEW and winston churchill.

as for your question TR, 300 to install a master kit? if so that is dirt cheap so i recomend you do it right away! i got a quote of 400 from one of my mechanics to do the entire car. usually all the kits come with lubricant but most of the time it isn't enough. especially if you have like a master kit or something. i put 2 different sets of polyurethane bushings on my rear lcas and the first one was on eg lcas and 2nd was on integra lcas. the person who installed the first ones only used the lubricant that came with the kit but i made the 2nd guy drown the bushings in grease for the integra like a **** and it doesn't even squeak like the ones on my eg lcas.

When I Installed the Energy suspension master bushing kit(black) I used all of the silicone grease supplied with the kit and about 5lbs more in wheel bearing grease just coating EVERYTHING. No rust, no squeeks, no problem.
By myself including the large trailing arm bushings it probably took me about 10 hrs. Oxy-Acetylene torch is your friend.

I did it all myself, it was allot of work... a good idea is to do all the mechanical work and then send the parts out to a shop with a press and let them do all the grunt work.
The kit comes with plenty of lube...If your useing more your just wasteing it because the bushings are pressed in so it all the access just squirts out onto your bench and makes a mess.
300 is a good price, maybe he will do it for less if you have all the parts removed, thats prolly 50% of the work, plus the fact of not having your car takeing up one of his bays the whole time...
And It was Astroboy I got my kit from, best price I could find... even better than ebay.

yeah go with the master kit, i made the mistake by not going with it. could be only my reds squeaking, who knows my car makes all sorts of noises, noisy brakes, lack of sound deadening, polyurethane bushings, etc. i really want to try the steering rack bushings but i'm not sure if you can buy those seperately.

What a coincidence.. I was driving my sisters Lancer and I noticed that her steering was so responsive. if anyone finds out about buying the Bushing mentioned in this thread seperately. Let me know.
