no. different stroke means the 1.5 has longer rods. pistons should be different too. good luck

well i suggest you do some research about building an engine for boost. High compression is NOT what you want, actually its low compression and the suzuki grand vitara piston will yeild a nice low compression.
You build an engine with high compression if its going to be natually aspirated. Low compression if its forced induction.

You prolly have your reason not to run these pistons but there are a fair bit of guys on honda-tech that do run them, and yes they work for a MILD buildup on a budget. I was just talking about this today with my boss who builds race cars, and he said the same as you...."buy proper parts only". The thing is these pistons are good for at least 250whp with a good tune. IF, and I mean IF i build up my spare d16z6 i will be going with the vitara's and will be shooting for around 230-250whp. Iam still not sure if i wanna build a spare motor cause i rarely run the high boost setting on my car cause it is unnessecary for daily driving.
My advice...know your limits and buy your parts according to your goals.

Good advice, i would just like to ad be conscious of your future plans when buying parts. What i mean is don't go get a 2.25" exhaust done if you plan on going turbo b/c you will just have to replace it with 2.5-3"....see what i mean?

2.5 is fine unless you are shooting for high numbers. I run 2.5in downpipe to highflow cat and 2.5piping to a magnaflow muffler.
