so im going to get a d15b into my eg hatch, basically was wondering if i will see any noticeable gains with a lt flywheel (9-12lbs). car will have I.H.E...or should i just get a stage 2 clutch instead? thanks

i know, but it will grab better. basically i would like to do the flywheel and clutch eventually, but i need a new engine and tranny now and only have the means for one or the other. so i would like input as too which i should do first while the tranny and what not isnt in the car.

i assume this is a daily driver with the d15b?...if it is, i believe ACT stage 1 clutch with a 11-12 lb lightened flywheel should do well on the streets....I/H/E will have minimum gains on the motor itself, if you seek power on this motor, F/I is the way to go...unless you have tons of money to burn and make an all motor d-series(props to you if you can do that)

if ur gonna change ur clutch u might as well do the flywheel and save on labour instead of taking everything apart again for the flywheel later on

with lt F.W no gains in H.P,but trottle response is instantainious,it's a bit trick to drive,but it take getting use to.You'll see better gas maleage(less rotating mass). if your on a tight budget do the lt F.W
