Could someone please help me with my engine :(

did you install your fuel pump and filter correctly..??? didn't you have problems with your fuel pump?....tps set to range..? get your volt meter and check the tps...then check your vtec wiring/all wiring...then check your fuel pressure...then when all else fails take it to a mechanic.

Yeap; D16Z6 swap is as EASY as it gets; you know it dropps right in; and all you have to do is add the VTEC (oil press. and sol.) to the P28 in your DX.
Hey man **PROPS** for swapping it in yourself!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways.... HOLEY ****!! 190 ghp fuel pump?!??! (dooood; sweet pump; but OVERKILLL for D16Z6......)
You realllllly need to check fule pressure (you need a fuel pressure gauge; B&M? mounts on the fuel filter) and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator; stock is 42psi; my old D16Z6 made peak hp @ 46psi on dyno....)
Anyways; personally I think you're running WAYYYYY too rich w/a KILLER fuel pump; swap in a stock pump or GS-R/Itr for more flow.. but anything more I think you're just dumping wayyy too much fuel into the D16Z6.
later!

btw; also how was it before the swap? Any similaor problems?
here's a *possible* issue;
I've had cars with plugged catalytic converters have the same issues; either the cat's come appart and/or are plugged and because they block the exhaust the engine can't rev up;
(Imagine running at full tilt and trying to breathe out a straw instead of your mouth)

teh reason im using the holley 190 lph (said gph by ac cident there) is because i am going turbo as soon as i can get the car running properly, also, i bought the car as a shell and its had no motor in it for like 2 years. I checked the tps and map sensors earlier today and theya re in the correct spots

vacuum leak maybe....around the throttle body...I mean you should have just stright swapped it then once it was workign then throw in aftermarket parts.....pull the plugs are they black or white...rich or lean...throw a vacuum guage on the thing....

i have checked the timing, that is fine, and i have checked visually to see if all my hoses and whatnot are on there good and it seems good, i dont know how to use a vacuum gauge :S. BTW i didnt throw on any aftermarket parts on except my intake. Checked the plugs today and good old bbarbulo says they looked fine when i showe d him pics. the car feels like its running fine other then the bogging out when u get to 3000-4000 rpm then of course it just stops climbing once it gets to 4000 rpm

To me it honestly still sounds like a fuel starvation problem.
Check your fuel lines near the pump and throughout the chassis for kinks or blockages, especially the return line. With nothing connected to either end air should be able to flow freely through the lines.
Have you checked your voltage on your TPS? Might be something to look into as it's quick and easy...
Quick question for you Kieran, do you know how long the engine you installed had been sitting? There could be old solidified fuel deposits in your injectors and they may need to be cleaned.
What you really need to do though is verify the fuel pressure when the engine is under load. The only way to do this is to run and interior mounted fuel pressure gauge, not a bad idea if you plan on running a turbo setup in the near future.
Best of luck.

thanks shawn, im kinda thinking it is fuel starvation as well, when i installed my other injectors it would rev up higher but quicklyu went back to normal, the same thing happened when i installed the other fuel pump. The engine was sitting for all winter long :S in my garage. I am gonna go and install some new fuel in the car now, i was running it before with new gas mixed in with a bit of old gas that has been sitting in the car for a bit. If that doesnt work im gonna check all the lines like u suggested shawn
Thanks for all the help brotha'

UPDATE:
ran no exhaust to see if catr was plugged up
changed FPR
now throwing a code 43
Fuel supply system
oxygen sensor
Check the fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator (chapter4) also check for any vaccuumm leaks
