continuity in c2? obd0 mpfi swap

continuity in c2? obd0 mpfi swap
iv got a code 9 , the dizzy has no continuity but the ecu side of the wire does but only c2 .. the trouble shooting thing says to check c1 but not c2 is this because c2 is supposed to have continuity??
