Just finished MPFI swap here is some stuff not found in any instructions

i just finished my MPFI swap and i think something should be mentioned that at the dizzy plug the wire colours change!!!!!! watch out for that !!!! next thing is i have a 95 d15b7 in my car and the head is different and the Si dizzy can only locate one bolt properly!!!!! but its the top one so thats not soo bad!!!!!!! also there seems to be an extra sensor on the MPFi on the back corner drivers side that seems to have no connector for it !!!!!! i didn't hook mine up but it still runs great!!!!! dunno bout the etest though!!!!!!!!!! also not mentioned anywhere is to change your map sensor from pm5 - pm6. also you need most of the coolant lines and vacum lines from the mpfi unit cuz all the dpfi ones DO NOT WORK AT ALL

hope this helps someone

good work...get that cam in there like you said, and your off to the races

as far as the dizzy, thats why I went with a y8 head, or you can just convert over to obd-1 ... harness plug, and ecu shouldnt run you over $200 depending on model ecu you go for.
