cold air intake hole in 92-95 civic

Hey guys i have a question about the size of the hole were the cold air intake goes through behind the headlamp assembly. Is it 2.5 inch or 3 inch, thanks and let me know.

I think it's at least 3 inches to allow you to fit a 2.5" pipe diameter pipe through with some breathing room. It could possibly be even a little more.
