clutch problems

I think I burned my clutch out last night. Whenever I give the engine gas(in gear)the revs go high and it takes a second for the the clutch to grab. Does this sound like a fried clutch to you guys?
Thanks

somebody mentioned get a CT clutch for cheap. Yes the part is $189 for my d16z6, not sure about the a6 though. Its the labour they get you for part and install, they want like $700. i would be curious to know what you do becuase i am in the same boat as yourself.
