car jus died

it was a slightly different problem for me. the voltage regulator in my alternator fried and it cooked my battery. there was no power so i didn't hear anything at all. i bought a new altenator from a board member and brought it to partsource for a bench test. it was good so i popped it in, changed all my exterior lights (yes they ALL blew at the same time but somehow all my fuses survived), changed my battery and was good to go. my battery light was on for 2 weeks before my car died so it could be related.

How are you boosting the vehicle? + to + and - to - ? I would do + to + and - (boosting car) to your engine or a known good ground point (ie. bare metal).
