calipers

ok so i noticed today on my wife's 99 civic se 4dr that she doesnt have this bar on her calipers
so i was wondering if her calipers would fit on ma EL so i can finally put ma player wires on ma car


and i own a 99 EL so what can i do
can i swap them on my car or not

if that is the case I would seriously consider looking into a tow truck to tow it immediately and have it sent to a better mechanic shop cuz i dont know HOW the actual caliper is being held up.

Im having a hard time to understand what he is trying to say also. Do you want to swap her calipers to your el? If thats the case, yeah it will fit cause the 99civic 4dr is the same as a 99 EL.

Is it me or is that image reversed? I thought the 6th gen calipers are mounted facing front?

haha ya like Team Rukus said if you dont have that "stupid bar" i would not drive your car beacuse that is was holds the caliper up

the SE model and the EL have diff't size brakes, therefore you can't just swap calipers, but you could swap the entire steering knuckle assembly if you really really wanted to.

also, I'm betting that pic is not of his own car, but a 01+ civic.
