to make it worthwhile like go all out and replace, lines, cylinder, discs and pads.
u need to get ep ctr rims to make them show properly.

lines are already stainless, i've replaced the mastercylinder, the brake booster, discs i'm thinking of ordering, and pads are new OEM type-r pads for street use (until i decide which pad to go with).

and i don't like 17's on an EG. these rims are just temp/winter rims =)

bought the calipers new from a&j. i'm local to them so it was 'cheap'.

expensive calipers on re-machined rotors....there is still a groove in them too. look nice i guess but waste of time on the street if you dont have a quick car.

rotors are on order at the moment. i work at Acura so it's no biggie for me in terms of cost

and yes, the spoon calipers are supremely overkill on the street. i'll admit that they're more bling than function at the moment...at least until i track the car this year.

glad you guys like the parts though!

these wouldn't fit on my 97 si , would they? like yea a big brake kit would be nice but if i want to go with a small race rim then i'd be screwed. any chances of these bolting on?

these will bolt up to your knuckle since you have an Si model. however, you will need to get ITR 11" rotors redrilled to 4x100 and there's a chance that you may need to run spacers between the rotor and hub..and possibly a spacer for your wheels to clear as well (depending what kind of wheel, what offset you're running).

on top of that, you should also change your mastercylinder and brake booster as well as your prop valve otherwise your pedal feel will be crap (or your stock mc won't push enough fluid for the calipers!).

szuberi - motor is a JDM B18C ITR with bolt-ons at the moment. Toda B cams and valvetrain are going in soon. i'm also thinking of ITB's, but i'm not sure yet. EMS was cheap so i picked it up

rdub - thanks bro!

couldnt agree more. although his car does have swapped motor and i/h/e.
my friend bought the brembo kit for his 00 civic si stock.
all he has on the car is like intake, 3" exhaust for d16 stock motor.

the ITR motor is just so much fun to drive and with right bolt ons and mods...tracking your car will ultimate. im sure the calipers will come to life once you track.
