If I wan't buying a house in a few months I might have thought about getting it.

for the dollar h22 is the way to go, cars handling is marginally affected but you wont care for what you gain in the straight line.

Forget the GSR swap. JDM B16's are making almost the same hp with a little less torque. And GSR's are more money. Not worth it IMO. B16's are durable stock. You can add boost later if you really want to go fast. I have a b16A in my 91 now and I love it. Its a little weak down low but its fine for Driving around town and It rip's when you rev the **** up. And B16's are geared really short so the lack of torque isn't much of an issue like alot of people think.

k series mounts are like over 1g alone, plus the amount of time swapping the engine also costs $$. you have a EF, the lightest chassis of what most ppl are driving. B18 beats it in anything heavier. the only thing i've noticed about B16's is that the vtec seems to hit much louder than on the B18, weird. as for H22, the car height is a factor in axle life because the lower you go, the more stress you put on them. H22 stock for stock beats everything in a straight line, but don't deny that it doesn't make the car handle worse because of the extra 35lbs over the B series. the engine also sits on a tilt too so that kinda isn't anything good either. even if you upgrade everything, still isn't going to handle or brake as good with a B series. i thought about H swap for my car for quite a while but the only good thing i can find about it is that it's cheaper than a R swap and puts u on par with it if not faster. but every swap has it's down side and i guess it all comes down to your budget and what you like most. for me i like the extra little umpf with reliability and simplicity with it.

Not this question again. I believe that unless you have first hand knowledge of the engine(s) in question then a valid comparison cannot be made.
The real question should be how much are you looking to invest in the car without any noticeable return on your investment once it comes time to sell?
