Let's see... EASIEST way I can think of, is buy a B16 swap, and just dump the B16 block and head, and replace it with a B20 block and head. Voila... INSTANT B20 swap.

why not run the b16 head, with the proper pistons, oil line kits are about 100$ then voila b20 vtec,,, of course there are the fine details to make it work...

do you guys think the b16 tranny would be the best choice N/A? I figured the gsr/w LSD would be the best combo, or LS tranny for turbo..

it's too much trouble that way. I'd rather start with a B18C1 block and build THAT to two liters instead.

shorter gearing isn't always better.... on an engine that needs to be above 5000 to make power shorter gears are better.... but an engine that is pulling hard at like 3000 i dont think its nessessary.... i think the gsr tranny is probably the best choice for a b20....

although the ideal would be a gsr tranny with 1-4 of gsr gears then 5 an LS gear for low revving on the highway

thats the way to go... they do make stroker kits to make the b18c 2.0L.... then you would suffer from thin cylinder walls.... wonder what kinda power that would make

hmmm... well i dun have alot of money to spedn on this so it will just be a b20 swap prolly no extra parts, so i think b20 would be better for a daily driver...
