Exclamation B18C needs full exhaust.. plz suggest

Hello everyone.

I would like experienced people to please suggest what would go best with a B18c + DC headers (exhaust wise).
Am looking for the maximum performance with the quietest setup.... must be 2.5".
I live in the GTA so if you can price out some items/totals then please do....

My car is a 98 Acura 1.6EL (same as Civic Ek 98).

Thank You
& keep Moding.

if you want maximum performance which is very quiet here are choices that would be good

RS*R (dont know too much bout it but have heard more and more bout it recently)
Skunk 2 (got the preformance covered, but very loud)
Greddy Evo (i have it and flows amazing and yet very quiet)
Apex'i World Sport (both performance and very quiet, also looks quite sleeperish if u ask me) (not the N1 cuz thats one loud SOB)

IMO i would say go either w/ the Greddy or Apex'i

problem tho w/ the Greddy is that the tip is quite big so if u dont like that then choice is Apex'i

since it is also going on an EL, the Apex'i would look pretty clean

but the model u would have to get would be for any Civic coupe or sedan 92-00

pricing for those i think is round $700 (i think) for the cat back and you would wanna go high flow cat too so add another $100

rsr is ridiculously loud... i have the gt2 with 2.5" mandel bent on my b18c1 in my ek hatch... sounds really nice and dep without the silencer in but when you pop vtec it just starts screaming...

but... you want quiet... dont buy a pre fabbed catback... just get maybe a greddy twin res mid pipping... and the vibrant stealth black 2.5" in/out... and q nice high-flow cat... that will give you max flow and will be quiet... you'll certainly hear the engine over the exhaust anyday with that...

also.. you said you want best performance... DC headers are ****... they will so take hp away IMO... headers are the start of the e xhaust... think about those first... it can only flow as well as the pice before it... crapp headers means crappy flow even if you had 4" piping...

excellent headers.. vibrant j-spec 4-2-1... they give excellent mid-range and even better top-end.

also... th other guys were mentioning the world sport... one guy got it shipped to his door for i think just under 400... not bad really.

Fujitsubo is a company in japan that specialize in exhaust system. The quality of their products are top notch. They are not too well known through the Honda tuners but they are one of the best IMO. They have couple full exhaust systems available for Civics such as Legalis R, Power Getter and RM01A.

Magnaflow is quiet. Get a 2.5" mandrel bent with that muffler at the end, along with a 18" long resonator and it will be pretty potent, as far as decent flow and noise control goes.

Whole custom catback, you are looking at 600-800

I find the World Sport 2, although a lot quieter than the World Sport 1, gets really raspy in the higher rpm's. I've heard it on like 3 civics and that was my complaint, once the rpms start climbing, it starts to get raspy.

Ill be looking into these...
I will go to Steven @ ART Auto in Pacific Mall. He has few options. I will defintly not buy MEGAN or "some imitations of DC".

How about

OBX stainless 2.5" 18" CAT
DC Headers
(used) Apexi World Sport

Is thats any good ? (18"...)
or I should just stick to Magna Flow (13")?

PS. I am not trying to be cheap.. but I have few more extras on the run (new windshield.. + stero)

I just want to know what to get and I will pay the price. (I did NOT set some price in mind @ all).

i would recommend the following

Money no object:

Fujitsubo (super quiet)
Mugen Sport Exhausts (quiet)

More reasonably priced

Buddy Club Pro Spec (USA Spec)
Apexi WS2
