hey everyone!
i was wonder what a b18a1 will swap into. i will be parting out my cousins teg and i need to know if its worth it, ie. if it drops right into something else, more market. are the mounts the same for a eg hatch? or ef? what would be needed for this swap? are all the parts interchangeable with another car? help would be appreciated!!!

Any b series motor will "drop" into a civic/integra.....with the proper engine mounts. Because a b18a1 is an older engine, I think there is more of a market for b18b's.

I'm guessing a b18a1 uses an OBDO system, so it would be easiest to swap this motor into EFs.

It can also work with EGs and EKs, but I'm not sure how you would wire an older OBDO motor into an newer OBDI/II vehicle.

all it would need is a OBD 2 dizzy and intake manifold with all the corect sensors? thats all the OBD2 system controls.. not like the cams are OBD or the pistons/rods are OBD...

i dunno if thats corect, but if it is.. yay for me lol

don't do a b18a swap, its basially a zc and you'd need mounts/axles/shiftlinkage not worth it

a bit better than a ZC, in that more torque, and the parts are easier to get....but ya, probably not worth it over a b18b......
