cheap, quick, reliable, easy swap, direct bolt in

miss matching replacement parts is the only downfall I see

^ ya parts r a bitch to order cuzz everything on the motor would have to be ordered from a diff car, but there a good motor, i have had both the sohc and dohc zc's in my day and i was happy with them, the dohc is decently quick after bolt ons and iv found mine to b very reliable.

I'm running a zc in my 89 si. Again direct bolt in (I didn't do the swap myself but watched it being done). The car is not super fast but quick and fun to drive. I'm using an 86-89 teg computer and a SI tranny. Hasn't seen the track yet, so no times.
I'm used to the hunting for parts and mismatching parts (my other toy is a 4x4 s-10 with a v8 and axle swap...lots of custom on that so this is actually easier to find parts).

Been driving my 91 dx with a 2nd Gen DOHC ZC for a few months now. Totally happy with it. Finding parts was not that hard at all, When an SI part didn't match up an 88 Integra part did. But the motor is in good shape so I havn't needed many parts.

dont forget there are also prelude parts involved...the only PITA is when u tell a shop ur car is a "90 Si Civic" and they goto get parts for ur car and they are nowhere near close...u need to have the parts list and order by part not by car

good little setup..jsut make sure to get a nice motor not a oil burner.... you will need to mod distributer wires and wire in the 2 other injectors with a resistor box for your dx...I'd try to find a si tranny or zc tranny or keep your dx if you wnat fuel economy and be slower..
