Better at what?

I had a Skunk2 in my 98 Si and I was perfectly happy with it. They will both do the same thing and are about the same in quality, design and price.

wow $180 for a little peice of metal?
I love my $25 short shifter that i got as a gift from my brother. I just couldn't justify spending $100+ on a short shifter....but thats just my opinion.

i made mine, i'd post pics but i'm not allowed. it is actually quite easy to modify your stock one by cutting the top and also adding some material to the bottom.... but i'd check with all the tcc affiliates to see what they have to offer first.

your vibrant short shifter is nowhere near the same as the pro-edge B&M, check out the link and compare....http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id...cat=15&pid=150

a short shifter can only do so much.
dont get me wrong the b&m feels wicked but unless your god damn freaking serious about your mods a 20$ one with good bushings will do the job no problem.

it'll do the job untill it snaps.

who had that picture of the shift with vise girps on?

I would def. recommend b&m.. they aren't that much more expensive. I picked mine up for $60 or $70 last year.. then sold it.

the regular B&M short shifter is definitely what i would recommend for a daily driver, the more expensive model isnt worth it unless this is strictly for the track.

I also had a Solo shifter that was great too. They all do the same thing but the more expensive ones like Skunk2, B%M, Neuspeed, etc are generally made from steel and are more unlikely to break then a no-name aluminum one.

I eventually went back to my OEM shifter with ES bushings and I got a shifter re-biuld kit from Honda. It shifted better then the Skunk2 did.
