Any severely modified Automatic Civics?

I'm thinking about building up my Civic Hatch for performance and wanted to get suggestions for setup of an automatic tranny?

I've found one site that did a B16 motor attached to a JDM auto tranny and wondering if anyone has done this or knows what a JDM auto tranny goes for?

My buddy's bringing me a JDM B16A motor shortly and I want to build my Civic with it and maybe spray or turbo the motor afterwards.

Should be interesting to get an auto Civic into the 14's possibly 13's.

If you plan on building it, then sell your car and pick up a 5 speed.

uhh...is that the point of his post? Nope...

if you're going to turbo your automatic B16A tranny, you'd be best looking for a higher stalling torque convertor

Also finding a automatic B16A tranny is somewhat a little bit more difficult (not saying it's impossible), but if you're really interested, I think you should start talking to 94EG6HB

Level 10 performance has done a tranny for like an 11 second Honda auto.

Thanks for the advice, keep it coming.

I don't want another stick car. I own a severely modified 6 speed that will break 11's this year but am into the challenge of building up a fast automatic Civic.

Level 10 is an option, but guessing $10g's for a tranny.

One site mentioned a JDM auto tranny attached to a B16A but I haven't heard of it. They go on to mention that it requires custom mounting and a hybrid wiring harness.

$10Gs is about right for an entry level tranny

Yes, JDM B16s apparently DID come with an auto some of them, as I learned in another post. This forum, but another post. I suggested at that time the use of an LS auto tranny. Now about the harness, the ECU would have to be a DOHC VTEC auto ecu which does not exist in north america (???did GSRs ever come in auto??? ) Add a few wires here and there... About the mounts, should be able to use the integra auto mounts maybe modified.
