Unhappy ***** UPDATE *****Another problem - clunk noise

This just started recently, maybe last week or so. Sometimes when I go up a driveway where the driveway is kinda slanted more uphill, I hear a "clunk" coming from the passenger side of my car. I'm not sure if it's the rear or the front. It's a pretty loud "clunk". What would that be? Would that be my shocks are done?

********** UPDATE **********

It's fixed. I went to one of my mechanics today and had them hoist my car up to check out the bushings and all that. We found out what the problem was. Appearantly, the bolt/screw that holds the sway bar to the control arm (I think) had rusted and broke off, therefore, the sway bar was just dangling there. So, we obviously replaced it with a new bolt and bushing and I went up that same driveway a couple of times, and no clunk.

It could be a bushing is shot, similar thing happened to my car, I would hear a clunk when I went over bumps a certain way. I was pretty sure it was coming for the drivers side of the front of the car, so I jacked up that corner and pushed the tire up and down and got the same clunking noise. So I looked around and found one of the bushings almost completely deteriorated , so I replaced it and no more clunking noise

I think that may be the problem now. I just went out to the same driveway to duplicate the noise, and it sounds like it's coming from the rear passenger side. It would only happen when I turn left up or down that driveway.

Man you are not having a good month....clunk after rattle after squeel. I feel for you man. Hey with it being the bushings you can replace the stock ones with a good aftermarkett set. The stock ones were never meant to handle the stress you are putting your car under

very true...I had a couple of my front bushings replace last summer with Energy Suspension ones. I should've just did them all at once. Oh well. At least now I have a reason for my girlfriend for changing my rear ones

Don't worry Tom...

Most of use need G/F permission before doing anything....

I know your pain...

I'm picking up an Energy Suspension master kit as well..

Not going in until I get my new H&R's and Koni yellows though...

How much you picking up the Energy Suspension kit for? Is that for all the bushings?

Yeah, that's what I was quoted also, around $250. Well, right now I'm not sure which parts I need, but I spoke with one of my mechanics earlier today, and he said if I only need a couple of parts, it's gonna cost me about $40. Now I'm debating whether or not to change them all. In the long run, I'll save on labour, I guess. I don't know yet. I just heard from someone that it might be my ball joints or something. Oh well, I'm gonna get them checked out sometime early this week.
By the way, are you on here like 24/7

Good to hear you finally got one of your annoying noises fixed. When did you want to head over to 94EG6HB's house to look at the rest and do the fuel cutoff?
