Hey guys. I just installed after market Vibrant Headers for my D-Series EK hatch.... My mechanic couldn't get the O2 sensors off my cat convertor. Right now my car is running without both O2 sensors for the time being. The "check engine" light is on. My question is.. If i can plug both O2 sensors into my header, will my check engine light still come on cause I don't have a cat? or will it go off after I put in both O2 sensors.?

the oxygen sensor has to be pre and post cat for the CEL to be off.

so in other words, the CEL will be lit as long as I don't have a Cat???
