My g/f just picked up her 2003 Civic LX, and was asking me about the minor mods she can do to it. She wants to get it lowered a bit, and possibly a short shifter. Maybe an CAI and exhaust upgrade later on. What have you guys done to your cars? The stock shifter sucks, so that is her first mod in question. Revo, DC, Solo, Neuspeed all make short shifter kits/parts. Any owners have a short shifter? Springs will probably be H&R, but I will consider others too.

might consider coil overs over just doing springs, little more expensive but better in the end..

i've got the Solo s/s and shift ****..
cai imo is a waste of time..it performs just as well w/o
would strongly consider an upper strut bar (Neuspeed), she'll notice the improvement in turns the first time she turns the wheel..

Will I also experience better handling in turns with a upper strut bar on a 5gen civic? Also, is a upper strut bar the same as an upper struct brace bar??
