Yep, people often don't include brake lines and the e-brake cable.

Yup and depending if it's missing any little parts like, brake lines, hand brake cables, etc... Other than that... Pretty good estimate

wait wait...
so the 5 bolt conversion is cheap EXCEPT for tires and rims.
Cuz I have my rims picked out.
SSR Competition Silver... SSR == Speed Star Racing (not that monster truck company tires). lol
I'm looking for 205/45R17 OR 195/50R17. Anybody know where I can get a company that makes those size tires??
I need to know how much it is to convert to 5 bolt.. EXCLUDING tires and rims... Just the conversion parts/labour cost.

Those are incorrect tire sizes if you're putting them on a Civic. I would go with 205/40/17 at most.
For the parts, just keep looking in the local classifieds. They will pop up once every few weeks. They will rarely be sold without wheels/tires though.

A friend of mine on this site is selling a CTR five lug with 4 dics brakes, cross members, white rims, tires and everything you need to convert to CTR - cost you $2000 for the package, used 10K km maybe less not sure have to ask him.

The 205/40R17 is a quite a large difference (greater than 2%).. smaller than my 185/65R15 currently.
205/45R17 is only 0.8% difference apparently.
So that'd be a better bet apparently for civics.
Do you know if SSR make rims in 4 bolts?

I haven't done the calculations myself, but I'm just going by what 95% of Civic owners use.
It looks like they make the SSR Type-C in 17x7.5 +42 (4x100).

Did you guys read the specs? This is exactly why I want them. Everybody says that the bigger rim you get.. the heavier they are.. well.. when I get my rims.. I'm gonna do it "all-out" and get a very light pair 5.4 kg? That's less than 12 pounds!
That's lighter than my 15 inch alloys!
YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST FOR FINDING ME THIS INFORMATION! I LOVE YOU ALL! HAHHA!
Ok.. but now.. can you guys find some place in Toronto that has them?

You can probably buy them from Tire Rack. I'm sure you can buy them locally, but you're gonna get raped by the local suppliers. If you want even lighter rims, you can go for the Racing Hart CP-035 or Spoon SW388.

Hold up...you're doing a DC2R 5 bolt on a 2002 Civic LX??? You best try again. You will need the DC5 suspension parts to complete your 7th gen Civic. Everyone has been answering as if you had a 5th or 6th gen. No idea what these parts go for, but your best bet is to hook up with a wrecker. Not even sure whether it will fit, but I know for sure DC2 stuff will NOT FIT.
5th and 6th gens use offset between 38 and 42. 42 if you like slight rubbing on the inside of your fenderwell, 40 if you want it perfect, and 38 if you like to rub your fender. Well, sometimes you have no choice, but at least w/ 42, you can space your wheel out 1mm and have no rubbing. I have made stainless steel spacers before for a guy with 300ZX twin turbo Brembo brakes on his 240SX, and he just needed that 1 mm to clear the wheels. Worked like a charm.
