you would want a different transfer case.... you might be able to adjust the stock one though?? i dont know...

what you have to remember though is that the crv drivetrain isn't meant for speed or performance....

its not a stupid idea... its just a hard idea to excecute....

I wish you the best of luck in this ... it can be done ... but it will cost alot .... as for advice no one here has done this (to my knowledge) and therefore can't give much ...

damn you I've been itching to do almost the same thing, but in a EF sedan with full B20 running gear and a turbo on it. SICK!!! It's a sweet idea. Basically what I wanted to do was line everything up, cut out whatever on the floorpan was in the way, and build a full tube frame inside with all the CRV mounting points on the tube frame, so basically off the CRV everything bolted right up to the tube frame just like it would on a CRV. Only thing I'd need would be custom axles and prolly to shorten the driveshaft going to the rear... and also I'd wanna put a complete front knuckle in the rear so I have a hub for the axle to go into cuz the rear won't accept an axle. You could use the CRV susp and knuckles, but then your car will be as tall as a CRV. Honda Tuning did an AWD CRV/Integra a while back. Check out their site. Your other option would be a twin engine car. Some guy in MI is doing a H22A turbo RWD rear engine del Sol. Full tube frame capable of accepting another H22A turbo in the front compartment.

ya know, in honda tuning, what they did to the 'teg sounded mainly like fabrication (cutting/welding), so if you do that yourself, and already have the crv drivetrain and stuff, it probably wont cost too much money, you just need someone knowledgable with trannies, shift linkage, and driveshafts....

i will do it all myself the only problem im seeing as a big hassle right now is routing the exaust cuz the drive shaft needs to be in center of the car !!!!! well so does the mid pipe !!!???????!!!!!!!??????
