I have a older Silicon Graphics Indigo2 system
it has a 2GB HDD, R4400 200MHz risc processor..
it runs IRIX 6.5.8 (SGI Version of UNIX) and does NOT run windows, this computer is intended for advanced users only!, they used theses machines in labs and for rendering 3D Graphics in movies, ect..
It has IRIX 6.5.8 Installed I dont think I know the passwords so it will be upto you to install a new copy of irix yourself. and no Linux does not run on this machine, I think they have a port for it but it's just console mode only.
Oh, and I'll throw in that monitor for free, it needs a fixed frequency SGI monitor because of the special video card that ONLY runs at 1280x1024, it's slightly blurry like you barly even notice but it comes with the machine..

do you have the install cd's for irix?

nope, you have to do a network install or have a external SCSI CD tray around to do the install.. it does have the bays for internal drives but was really designed as a network computer.. thats why I'm saying only experienced people may want to look at this, because stuff like that probably wont be hard to come by, and network installs wouldent be that hard.
