Actually I wasn't bent out of shape like you think i was I only stated that I don't agree with this guy.

Michelle I have been busy trying to keep my girlfriend happy and also doing the auto cross stuff all summer and a bunch of lapping days. She doesn't work on Wensdays so it is hard to convince her to go near any thing to do with cars(I also figured she deserved time away from my hobby)

oh happy New year and Merry belated Christmas to you and your family.

OK, I so shouldn't get into this...but... I'll admit I'm no J-body fan, meaning I wouldn't buy one...but to each his own, if someone likes their car, that's cool, I also know that this is a Civic forum and I shouldn't speak for anyone else but I would challenge some of you guys to come to an auto-x event next summer and enter...I'm willing to bet that most if not all of you (I'll include myself here too) will get beaten by a certain white Cavalier.

Now go ahead, tell me to mind my own business...My $.02

BTW, Ryan, are we gonna see you at more TLMC events next year?

Ya more then likly, this will be my fourth season.

Oh and if you want to see a piece of my car check out that SCN and audio mag and look at the SRR lapping day article, The first picture at the top and I am the half Z24 behind the Delsol and Sentra. I was kinda pissed they didn't put a whole picture but what can I expect I drive a Domestic.. Oh and I was second fastest at the event two second off the black RSX in the puddle.

still would would be in a j body if you were truly a domestic racer?...i dont see too many of them in the trans am series?...

by the way i drive a celica tha tis a wanna be RWD/AWD car yeah i have displacment, boost, spray, and a hell of alot of suspention mods but none of them turn my rear wheels or allow me to drift a corner properly

I am not a hater of Jbodys i am just stating the truth that we both live. and no matter how fast EITHER of us is or how much more weight it would take from me or you to convert to rwd or awd you gotta admit that it woulda been sweet if the designers decided to sping all the wheels or the rears instead...

Actually GM doesn't make any rear wheel drive cars that you see racing. Also the Trans-Am series is a big name series so you get cars that came RWD in the first place. I remember watch the white Speed Touring Sunfire come from dead last to fifth place.

Oh I used to have an 85 Celica GT(last of the RWD) I would have loved to have kept it but life goes on.

From what I have seen at all the autocrosses I have gone to there really is no advantage to RWD or AWD, I have beaten alot of RWD and AWD cars in the rain or the dry.
