i have a ZC in an 89 civic si hatch. i launch at 2300rpms and get off the line really quickly(quick enough to beat 99-01 preludes off the line). why is it that u guys can launch at such high rpms without wheel spin issues? i'm runnin on 185/60 yoko avids.

Yes, a little.....depends on tire compound and width of tire/rim.
Mine....195/50/15 on a 15" x 7" wide rim.
Grip? Yes.
Tire spin? A little.

Oh I do have a little wheel spin but you have to remember that I am using an LSD transmission to launch my car and two wheels planting power to the ground is a lot better than just one
