Suspension Techniques Sway Bar

Hello all,

I bought an ST swaybar for a 2000 Civic and I have a couple questions about the install. Do I need to purchase new endlinks? Or is everything included in the ST box?

If you know I'd prefer to buy everything in advance than having to go buy something in the middle of the install.

Your response is appreciated.

You might want to look into getting one of these kits: www.beaksproducts.com They'll help re-enforce that whole mounting area so the bar doesn't rip your suspension apart under hard cornering. The ST RSB for Civics is 19mm is it not? That won't be too bad.

Hey thanks for the responses guys. I've got a 2000 Si ... looking to tightening up the suspension a bit.

I'm pretty sure the ST RSB is 18mm? I took it out a couple days ago and it's pretty beefy, solid and as straight as they can make it.

Looking at the SiR RSB install page I think I'll try to put it together then put it on the car ... just so I can get a visual feel for it. I may do this on the weekend so I'll update you guys with some pics.

Thanks for the help.

ST bars for civics are 15/16" front and 3/4" rear. anything under 1" should be safe for civic chassis, since (if I remember correctly) the SiR front sway bar is about 1" front and 1/2" rear.
