personally being at both Mosport tracks and Shannonville I'd recommend the driver development track at Mosport you learn more there... Shannonvile was too flat for me ...wasn't any reference for what was coming up...
anyways with that said I don't know of any lapping days coming up hopefully someone posts a few up it is getting late in the season however... so there might be too many around

Most websites have set their lapping days to mid September. But all it really is is a matter of booking the track. Go to Shannonville's website and it will tell you how much it costs to rent either half or full track.
Basically, if you get 20 people, and each person pays 80 to 90 bucks, you can lap the full track from 5 pm until it closes. The problem is, it gets dark at 7 in earlier Oct. so lapping in night time is rather dangerous for a bunch of amatures (and I don't know if the track has enough lighting)
Full day full track is $3638 dollars. If you get 20 people, each pays 180+ dollars which might not seem so bad. But amatures won't pay that much for one full lapping day. Their tires and brakes will be gone in a couple hours.
Bottom line is, wait for next year. They have the drag strip open on Oct 8th through 10th. You can drag if you like.

Mosport is the way to go, I go with the Audi club as my neighbor is a racing instructor and Mosport IMO out classes Shanonnville in track layout, it allows you to develop more technical skills. Again this is just my opinion......Shannonville is a nice track to, just not my preference
