HADA/Formula Kartways Event#1- Sun Jan 29 12-2
This is the first official HADA Carting event of the season. This year the setup is a bit different since we're going to have driver prizes for those who compete in the whole series. There will still be event prizes and trophies, but this year you'll also get scored based on your driving through the entire series and more prizes will be awarded then.
The first event will be run in an enduro format, teams of up to 3 people, $50/person (HADA Price), $65 (Non HADA), we hope to have 10 teams/30 people total, and to even things out. TomL will be picking the teams, so there will be no ringer teams!
Please post in this thread if you are going to be attending, and I will update the list appropriately. I would like at least 24 hours notice of any cancellations, preferably more.
As always, the key to HADA events is to keep our driving skills sharp through the winter. The key is smooth driving, clean lines, maintaining momentum and clean passing. There is inevitable bumping when it comes to carting events, but bump passes and dirty driving will get you blacked flagged. The fun is following a car, finding where you're car is faster and set the other guy up and pass them cleaning.
It's a more disciplined way of racing and more fun since you'll always finish a race a better driver than you started. Sign up here:
