Post Option JDM sponser car maybe

Hey guys
i went down to talk with john from optionjdm and things are lookin good with the sponsership hopefully we can put are heads together and produce a sweet show car. from now untill march or april my budget for the car is $3000 (not all cash gunna have to use the plastic for some). some of the mods we might be doing for march are CF hood, CF trunk, Wheels (buddy club or Work) keeping my wheels no one ask haha , Aftermarket seats (Recaro, Bride or buddy club) keeping my seats no one ask haha, Suspension - Just springs (tein, eibach, h&r), Prolumen HID kit 6000k. i'm sure the will hook me up with great deals at cost or a bit lower but for now $3000 is all i have to work with if a few of those things can't be done they have to wait after april. just letting u guys know how its going, feed back PLZ

dont think its a good idea to advertise about "sponsorship" deals your getting. For what you want I dont think it will all be attainable for $3000, cf hood and trunk ur probably looking at atleast $1000, Work wheels with tires is prolly around $1500 minimum, seats another $500-1500, HID Kit $300 minimum and springs are gonna be aroudn $200-300 and id recomend aftermarket shocks depending on the drop.

Not to mention possibly screwing the warranty on a brand new $30000 car.

It would be very nice though.

the only thing that might be affected re: warranty would be the struts due to the spring swap..
maybe the wiring up front due to the hid kit (just keep everything clean and "removeable" JIC)

it IMO shouldn't affect anything else

Good luck with it. If they can do it at cost, then you are not sponsored. You are getting a deal with an agreement but regardless, parts at cost is very, very nice. Hell I wouldn't mind getting parts at cost and put their shop name (or anyone else's for that matter) on my car.

warranty....big deal
worry about the shyt that could cost you a fortune and mod the rest

springs/shocks/suspension...no biggie, couple of G tops to remedy something drastic..

leave the engine and brain alone, play with everything else

tint your windows now, u cant put your windows down for a few days anyways after its done so better it be done when its cold out then when its boiling hot.

my friend use to tint and he always said its better to tint in summer as the water from the film evaps faster instead of freazing.
but every tinter always has a differnt opinion.
