The whole car is jdm. Its 100% real. The vins on the car are jdm as well. He just has paperwork with additional numbers for canadian registration becuase of the shorter ammount of vin characters in japan.

Eveything got screwed up when they forgot to announce the class. I talked to Donavan and he said he had 2 more trophies for us, but didnt know the the placing off hand. 1 is for JDM class and one must be for somthing else I assume.

1 is for the ITR for somthing (3rd i assume) and one for the skyline for ???

He is comming by with the trophies so I'll let you know.

Anyway..congrat Danny! Mint car!

98 was when they introduced ITR w/ 5 Lug, HID, Better Brakes, and slightly different gear ratios. The engine managment may be slightly differen't, too, I'm not sure though.

I just watched a best motoring video on the History of Type R, so I figured I'd share my new found knowledge. You guys probably already knew it, though.

BTW, 96-97 and 98-00 ITRs ran the exact same in the 1/4 Mile.

yes it does in order for it to be 100% authentic but some people change the vins on the cars and some just trailer there cars.
if i wanted to i could buy a 99 type-r champ white right now but it is not legal and it would cost me a bit more than my EF3 but i would have to vin swap it or trailer it.now where is the fun in having a car you cant drive anywhere or have to worry if you get pulled over.

Yes it is legal. You can do this with a bit of paperwork and toatlly legal. If the car exists in Canada then its much easier to do. The 15 year rule only excludes cars that do not exist here.
