My new B20 =)

hey guys so I just got the swap yesterday and MAN it's feels zoo much better than d series but one issue that came up was that the header wouldn't line up with my cat so the mech said that he was gunna give me a shitty one for now and to come back and get a better one (an LS)

The header was flat onthe bottom probably due to grinding over speed bumps so my mech said I'll be bogging but I wanted to know if this issue was because of the header or engine

Basically when I'm in parked neutral my idle is REALLY low and when I'm driving my idle will jump by like 800-1000 rpms ( on neutral)

I dont know if the wrong exhaust manifold would effect the idle that much.

the exhaust should not affect the idle one bit, and yeah they will not line up, as the flange on the exhaust manifold were it bolts to the cat are 45 degrees different. Mine was the same after i swaped in my B18. The idle problem is most likely a sensor.

Is it a b20 vtec?

Regardless, you should get a good aftermarket header with 2.5" collector, high flow cat and 2.5" exhaust all the way.

I did this to my b16 and what a difference from that alone...more power and better fuel mileage.

Did you check if you have any codes and what are you running? OBD2 or is it obd1?

Obd2 so the comp still needs to learn the idle

There's ways to adjust Idle as well... MAybe look into that.
I found it a year ago on Honda-tech.com it was a DIY too!
