Can someone tell me where these hoses are running to (throttle body). Thanx.

Ok thanks, that's what I thought but I wanted to make sure. I have the same motor but my map sensor is hooked up on the back side of the intake manifold. What's supposed to be there instead?

This is my motor. My MAP sensor is connected at the red circle. I checked my charcoal cannister and the one hose is not hooked up, which should go to the throttle body, and the other hose runs to a hard line. The only other thing on the cannister is I'm guessing the EVAP solenoid, but that runs somewhere under the battery. Any Idea what should go here? The car is a '98 DX and the motor is a 2nd Gen B16. The motor runs strong and I have never had any problems with it, should I just leave it as it is. Thanx alot for your help.

just leave it as it is. You don't NEED the evap purge solenoid, on obd2 cars its a solenoid on the fuel rail with a vacuum line coming from the charcoal cannister then a vacuum line going to the intake manifold. It looks to me that you have a 1st gen b16/b17 fuel rail, so it doesn't have the spot for the evap purge solenoid, so they prolly just left it unplugged. The plug would be part of the fuel injectors wiring harness, i see you also have obd1 injectors wired up.
The evap purge solenoid on obd1 cars/engines is screwed down to the back of the intake manifold (opposite the IACV, or where you have circled in red). They have a vacuum line that goes from the charcoal cannister, to the evap, then from the evap into the intake manifold, the other (big) vacuum line off the charcoal cannister goes to the throttle body (the one you circled in blue on the first picture). It doesn't really matter where the MAP sensor gets its vacuum from as long as its has its own dedicated vacuum source, meaning DO NOT ever "tee" the vacuum line for your MAP sensor (i've seen people do this for their BOV, or boost guage).

Okay thanks alot for your help. It's greatly appreciated. Are you a mechanic, or have you been in the Honda scene for a long time? You really know what your talking about. Thanks again for your help.
