Help Smart Ones!!!

ok so i installed my built y8. I have fuel and i have spark, i have clocked the dizzy, making sure i didn't have it in backwards and still nothing, it just cranks but wont catch. i dont think this could be a stale gas issue, could it? its 91octane and it has been a year with no stabilizer?

or
on my standalone its showing the engine load being at 97-98kpa? which is pretty much -1 vacuum.

Any idea's would be greatly appreciated

Start with the basics, re-trace your wiring, check all your grounds, and it might be a good idea to drain the fuel and put in some fresh fuel.

Just a thought try starting it by spraying a bit of break cleaner in the throttle body to rule out bad gas. make sure the firing order on the distributor cap is right.

ok so i checked, all wires are hooked up, i even added some extra ground, timing was corrected, drained the tank and put in fresh 94octane.

ok i think i have narrowed it down to the injectors not "injecting" when they should be, i just had my fuel rail with the injectors sitting out of my manifold and i cranked the car, nothing came out

Fuel pump or main relay. you should hear the system pressurize. Injector wiring, a fuse or ecu. Start at one item and gradually rule out each as you go.

its a sign showing you that you don't need a standalone

Did you load up a program into the AEM EMS?
