I don't believe so... no. ls/vtec is a common swap...b18b with b18c(gsr) or b16 (sir) head...hence the vtec part of ls/vtec to accomodate for the non vtec b18b.

You need a b16 head and a b20A or b20z block b20b is lower compression to do ls or b20 vtec you will also need a golden eagle vtec conversion kit or everything in it

Wrong gsr is the best flowing head b16 is higher compression for a moderate all motor build

only at very high valve lift gsr will outflow the b16, but with no streetable cam it'll achieve that kind of lift.
again im just saying from what i think i know/remember. correct me if im wrong

wrong the GSR is the best head for any turbo set up because it flows so good from the factory without any alteration

a b16 head can be way way better with a slight port and polish and a cheap valve job but stock on stock i would take the GSR any day but the best flowing head PERIOD would definetly be the B18C5 head no match

agreed with the GSR over the b16, STOCK VS STOCK tho... definetly wouldnt mind a b16 with pnp etc. itd be a clean motor.

If your going boost do ls vtec with a gsr head make shure you chane the main bearings connecting rods bolts and head studs timing belt water pump and oil pump and get the golden eagle vtec conversion kit and do your self a favour and buy a gsr main girdle/block guard.
