okay so robert.2010's b16 swap is all complete, all it needs is shifter linkage and one axle.. im on the hunt and i think i'll be picking it up in like 2 weeks or 3 when i get some paycheques

i would have went with a b18 but to each their own! actually..i would have went with a h22, but hey, thats what i did! lol

i also got my h22a1 with my car, in pieces mind you, but i only paid 750 for my car, with the motor, tranny, prelude heated leather seats, ect. So, there are deals to be had! lol

haha thanks for the offer anyways man! i'll be doing the swap in my garage with hand tools and a cherry picker. then once the d16y8 and tranny is out, ill sell it

well i get paid saterday, and then i should hopefully have just enough money to buy the engine and all. so hopefully i can pick it up the following weekend. then i will be chipping away at the swap every night after work so hopefully will be done in about 3 weeks total, maybe 4 tops

H22's are nice, lotsa powa! but they can be a pain to install and there are other issues/costs/parts involved.

b-series motors swap in with minimal effort. Enjoy your b16 and the great fuel mileage you'll get. I love my b16.

motor mounts, axles,shifter cables/shifter...thats about all thats different.

Well, there's no "right" or "wrong" swap, nore is there the "best" swap. It's what ever you want or can do at the time.
