Help me find a swap! :(
My engine needs a new axle, has an oil leak, and needs a clutch done so i want to get my swap done sooner than later. i almost got a gsr swap tonight but the f*cker flaked and im SOL. i can get a full b18c1 swap from ******** for 1850 cash i believe. but someone please help me out, im looking to find the cheapest b series swap for my civic, full swap. ive searched but cant find any better deals, so i figure maybe you guys know some people who are selling a swap. thanks for reading guys, im down in the dumps right now

yeah i have, the only one relatively near me is the guy who flaked and wanted wayy too much. so i'd rather not take the risk and either go with a fellow trusted tcc member, or a importer/shop. im debating the 1800 swap probably for another week or two and see, but i thought id give old tcc a chance too.

You think you can hook me up? I'm in Waterloo so its kinda far to go to get a price you know? Just see what the cheapest full B swap you can get for a 94 civic is if you can? That would be a HUGE favour!

LOL! well im not best friends with the guys there, but i do go there alot. i can ask for you if you want, but the point is this..... i much rather sell something to someone that has the intention of buying with cash in there hand rather than someone that calls/emails about a engine.

True lol. Well if you don't mind that would be awesome. And I am just calling for a quote but I would go in with straight cash to get it, its just the distance so I'd like to know a general idea first LOL

Ok, they are workin on a couple things with me and when i have news i will PM you.
But i was thinking last night about your problem you have. Why dont you buy a B20/B18 block for $400+/-(depending). and i have a link on a semi-built GS-R head. For under $1000 you have an engine, pick up a B16/B18 tranny for 500+/- and your set. For around $1500 you have a engine/tranny combo that will net you around the same power of a Type-r motor would. Just my thoughts...

i would LOVE to buy a poor mans type r, but i really need a swap to put in within the next 3 or 4 weeks TOPS. and since i work full time 8-5 weekdays and 8-3 sat and sunday, i dont have time to put one together. and if your think i work plenty to afford more, im only 17 and only get paid 9.60/hour.
