Heater coil?

Heater coil?
ok I did a Jdm D15B engine swap about month ago and before I did the swap my old D15B8 puushed out so much heat that I would only put it on for 5-10min the shut it off because the car became a sauna.
Now with the new engine I've noticed its not even blowing warm air.
My question is do I now have to replace my heater coil or do the Jdm D15B's run cooler ...or does that even matter?
Thanks

when you installed the new engine, did you check the switch valve for the heater core. its a 5/8 hose that comes from the thermostat to the black plastic valve near the firewall. Check if its seize, Also check thermostat if its still good, like you said you changed your engine and we don't know if you did the thermostat nor waterpump/ timing belt. cheers....

I didnt change the timing belt or water pump, they both looked mint and I mean new.. the whole engine looked like a 2009!
Other then that I was pretty careful when doing the swap, but I did notice that after the new engine was in my temp gauge sits low and hardly ever gets to a quarter.
After 5-10mins of driving with the old engine it would sit at a quarter and stay there never got hotter then that?
does this help at all.
