I ordered off ebay an exedy oem clutch kit including a flyweel for my 1997 honda civic si but someone told me that it wont fit my civic , it will fit only 2001-2002 civic.....


Part number of the exedy clutch kit is KHC08
Part number of the exedy Disc: HCD818U
Part number of the exedy clutch cover: HCC918
Part number of the exedy flywheel: FWHDC01



Can someone please let me know for what civic are those parts for??????

Well the states the SI is the SIR here in Canada. You should have ordered the clutch for a EX civic model from the states cause thats the SI in Canada.

this is the exactly clutch i bought from that person on ebay:
eBay Motors: EXEDY NEW OE CLUTCH KIT& FLYWHEEL 92-00 CIVIC 1.5L 1.6L (item 350166113265 end time Mar-15-09 13:30:32 PDT)

He said that if will fit :

1992 - 2005 Honda Civic (1.5L, 1.6L, 1.7L, all except DOHC VTEC)
1993 - 1995 Honda Del Sol (1.5L, 1.6L all except DOHC VTEC)

I called exedy themselves and they said that it will fit older civics hihi...thanks guys

Just for the purposes of clarity, all D series engines (D15, D16, D17) can use the same clutch and flywheel kit.
