Hey!

NGK plugs only....Ok guys thanks again for all of your help and I will be sure to post my solution to this problem unlike anyone else, so that maybe someone else that has this problem won't have to go through what I'm going through! haha

Thanks again,

Hey Jamie did you ever figure out your problem? mine just started to hesitate like you explained this morning, ive got a 92 hatch but the stock motor, no CEL. about a year ago I had to replace the dizzy cause i had studdering problems which happened sparatically. then it eventually died on the 401. now its only when i dip into the throttle alittle too much. might have to swap the dizzy. ive got a know-all honda guy in barrie tho, im gonna check him out after work.

Hey!

Actually I have found out why my car was running so bad and stuttering...It was my spark plug wires...the number 3 cylinder wire kept on popping off and when I went to take them off to replace them the number 2 cylinder wire broke right off and I had to get the clip off the top of the spark plug with pliers! So needless to say I was getting intermittent spark.....So all I can say is check your wires (visual and resistance with an ohm meter)....Hope this helps! Now that I fixed that problem I have a new one now though... car is losing electrical power.....it doesn't have enough power to start and the wipers are slow and the lights are very dim but if I boost it it runs fine....still lacking power but it wont die, which tells me maybe the alternator is working but maybe there is a bad connection with the battery somewhere or the battery is not holding a charge (even though it's fairly new)..Anyways that's for a new post!
Hope this helps,
Jamie

Fixed my car too, replaced the dizzy, had somewhat of the same problem the next morning but the car wasnt hesitating, just misfiring like made, couldnt do anything at 430am so didnt go to work. went to crappy tire bought a new rotor, still didnt help. turned out to be the plug wires, changed em up and shes running like a dream. ill have to change the plugs though, theyve got heat damage.
