hmm thats odd i have never heard of doin that. how would that wire in to the harness though? i want to boost the motor once i can. maybe ill look into using the one dizzy then that would make life a lot easier. Could use a sohc zc wiring harness then which is easir to find

So i have decided to go with the dohc and give my brother the sohc for his 96 civic go honda lol.. And i also found out last night that if you want to upgrade your connecting rods on the cheap you can use ls rods with a little milling off the bottom to fit on the crank and a brass bushing for the pin in the piston. LS connecting rods in a D16 - Honda-Tech im getting me some ls pistons and my gfs dad is a machinist so im set there!!! and my civic should be good till wat like 350hp?

No!!! Don't push that much, ls rods will snap. 280whp is max I'd go.

LOl ya i figured as much im not familair with the b series i have read 300 and 320. But im only lookin for about 200-220 at the wheels reliably. And since the week link in the d is the connecting rods just fix that and i should be good for 220?

I've heard of stock LS bottom end with b16 head putting down 300-315whp. But how long that will last is another story...lol.
