Lol damn, sorry I was reading your post still asleep Dustin. Ah I knew that will come and backfire on me. Haha update: drove from my house 25km and only sputtered once after starting. It feels like it pulls harder too. The tach is still all over the place..and it starts jumping around after 3500rpm. So I'm thinking something is loose in the dizzy maybe? Hopefully tomorrow ill have another one on, and ill let you guys know how that works out.

You HAVE to check timing after replacing the distributor. No matter how close you think it is, it'll be off be a few degrees. And being off 2-4degrees can affect gas mileage, being off more than that may cause driveability issues. So having someone re-check ignition timing is never a bad idea.
