D16 to B16?

yeah, that is my logic behind my question. My thought is that if I'm getting a d15b from Japan, that my better bet would be to go with a auto tranny d15b, because i would assume that there's a lesser chance of it being beat on than a manual tranny d15b. And since I'm planning on upgrading my clutch and flywheel same time, I should be better off.............right?

my friend gave me the suggestion that I upgrade my camshaft at the same time that i swap my engine...... if so, do i need to change anything else to do that? and which camshaft is better? OBX or skunk2?

Keeping in mind that it's a d15b...

if you use anything other than a stage 1 cam, you will need to change the valve springs and retainers to ones capable of handling the higher lift and longer duration of the aftermarket camshaft.....and of course tuning. If you ever change the cam(s) in an engine you need to get the car tuned.

sounds like an idea..........approx how much would i be looking to get the car tuned? Zee, you know how to do that kind of magic, right?
