Formulas for compression ratio

(CylVolume + ChamberVolume) / ChamberVolume

cylinder volume = pi/4 x bore^2 x stroke

chamber volume = cylinder volume / compression ratio - 1.0

displacement ratio = cylinder volume / chamber volume

amount to mill = (new disp. ratio - old disp. ratio / new disp. ratio x old disp. ratio) x stroke

there ya go... figure it out

hehe - or you can do a Google search for displacement and/or compression calculator and go from there...

you have to measure the volume of the combustion chamber at least since it's an odd shape the rest is easy measurements

if the head is not ported, the chamber volume is well known
