Hey, i have a 08 Civic Dx-G model, and all of the sudden i am getting a check engine light, and it comes on as soon i turn on my ignation and it doesnt go away? how can i reset myself, i went to Honda dealership they said they will charge me for diagnoise but they wont charge me for repair need help thanks.

 

only way to fix the light is to fix the problem. need to get it checked somewhere.

 

Possibly a sensor is blown somewhere. That's usually what the CEL is when it lights up.

 

but there is no way to reset the check engine light by ourself like a SRS lights?
