again do you know what octane is for? DETONTION RESISTANCE thats all. it doesnt increase your performance it increases you engines ability to not detonate. octane doesnt promote atomization of fuel and air hence a better burn and more power.

i specialized in performance honda engines. people can run 13.5:1 on 92 and not detonate. a b16 is 10.2:1 "not high compression"...if you would run 87 in a 9:1 d series why do you think you would need 94 for one point higher? these engines are not inefficient v8's with terrible head and piston designs where detonation is an issue, hondas have a very good pent-roof design chamber that is very detonation resistant.

but you can think whatever you want. my statement is true not false. take your 3 posts and ****** the word.
